Our senior pastor has been at Temple Baptist since 1986. He was a youth pastor almost two years in Pennsylvania before coming to Dade City. He has a B.A. in Church Administration and a Master of Ministries degree.

Beside his formal education Pastor Woodard draws from over 35 years of experience in the ministry. He also presents information and pictures gained from multiple trips to places mentioned in scripture that help us understand the Bible. He has been to Israel twice, to biblical sites in Turkey twice, biblical sites in Greece twice, Rome twice and Egypt once. In the messages he does not use terms that are difficult for the average person to understand.

Pastor and his wife, Rachael were married in 1985. They have one daughter and three sons that have grown to adult-hood in our church. They demonstrate a love for the Lord and want to live for Him.
