1. I have personally accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my Savior, and desire to grow spiritually with a goal of being Christ-like in my actions, thoughts and attitudes.
2. I have been baptized by immersion after accepting Christ.
3. I purpose to regularly attend the services of Temple Baptist Church.
4. I will attempt to lead others to Christ through witnessing and missions and use my influence to encourage others to attend Temple Baptist Church.
5. I have read the constitution of Temple Baptist Church and am in agreement with it.
6. I realize our church is not in sympathy with the Neo-Evangelical position, that of compromise with liberalism in order to get a chance to preach the Gospel. I realize the Bible condemns this type of cooperation and compromise (II John 7-11).
7. I understand that the affairs of Temple Baptist Church are led by the Pastor and Pastoral Staff within the guidelines of the church constitution and that they are assisted by the deacons. I will support the biblical leadership they provide.
8. I understand that as a member of the congregation I have a responsibility to make certain that the leadership of the church abide by the church constitution and membership covenant.
9. I am in agreement with our church being an independent, fundamental, non-charismatic, Baptist church that emphasizes separation from sin and worldliness.
10. I will not gossip about church matters or other brothers and sisters in Christ, but rather will go to the person it concerns in a loving, Christ-like, Biblical manner to correct it in an edifying way.
11. I understand that I will forfeit my membership by coming into disagreement with the Constitution of Temple Baptist Church, or any of the above statements.
