Jude 17-25 This final passage of Jude turns our attention from what the false teachers are like to what we should do about them. Throughout the passage, Jude makes clear that the false teachings are dangerous, so we must not grow careless or prideful in our own strength. First, he says, we must not be surprised because we were told that these people would come (v. 17-19). Second, we should spiritually protect ourselves from their influence (v. 20-21). Third, we should help others who are affected by their teachings (v. 22-23). Finally, we must commit ourselves to God’s keeping and keep Him central in our lives (v. 24-25).
