Jude is a short epistle of only 25 verses. It was written by Jude, a brother of James, both of whom were half brothers to our Lord Jesus Christ. Neither Jude nor James were followers of Jesus until after His resurrection.
Jude writes to warn us not to be surprised but be ready for the battle in which we as Christians are engaged every day. Though each believer may come from a different background, we each share a “common salvation” which joins us all into the same spiritual army.
As we study this epistle together, look for the commands, examples, errors, attitudes and encouragement Jude gives as he warns us to “pay attention” and get involved in what is happening around us each day.
